Dr. DeBasio has worked in higher education for more than 50 years holding both faculty and administrative positions.  She is President Emerita of Research College of Nursing after retiring in December 2017. She is a member of the American Academy of Nursing’s Class of 2012 Fellows. She currently serves the Academy as chair of the Development Committee, member of the Fellows Selection Committee and the President’s Circle.  Dr. DeBasio holds a BS with a major in Nursing from Wagner College; an MA in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing from New York University and a PhD from the University of Pennsylvania in Educational Leadership.

Alexis Carbone is the Vice President of Sales at CORE Higher Education Group, an education technology company based in West Warwick, Rhode Island. Alexis is a graduate of the College of Business at Johnson & Wales University and has been with CORE Higher Education Group since 2008. Alexis's passion is to assist clients by creating and implementing industry best practices to improve the management of their Experiential/Clinical Education and Assessment initiatives.
